After moving to Poland, I got to know about the concept of Airbnb. And I really liked the wonderful idea and the entire concept of it. People rent out their spare properties or just a room or two in their home where they themselves reside and earn money. It is a win-win situation for both the hosts and the guests for many reasons, the foremost being the cost and comfort.

You can search for your accommodation as per your requirement. Airbnb hosts list various kinds of properties on the Airbnb site like single rooms, a suite of rooms, an entire apartments, moored yachts, houseboats, entire houses etc. You can add filters to get the exact result for your needs. There are many amenities like kitchen, lift, garden, baby cot etc. You can filter out or add as per your requirement.
Clarity
As most of the listing on the site has a clear and detailed description of the property, host information along with the pictures. You get to know where you would be staying and whom you would be meeting. There is no standard rate of these properties like the hotels. The hosts decide the price depending upon the facilities.
User-friendly
The search is very easy on the site and you can explore not only by the travel dates and location, but also by the type of property, price, facilities, and the language of the host.

People fear that you may not get what you see on the internet and the host might have posted the wrong information about the place and pictures. In that case, you can rely upon the comments of other visitors experience and have an objective view of the property. The reviews of the previous guests are really helpful in choosing the right property. A few of them post their pics also which also help in deciding the accommodation.
Cost and Comfort
Airbnb is not only cheaper than the hotels but also comfortable too. You get privacy too. I have stayed in many properties so far and was amazed to see how beautifully many of them had met the standard of a five-star hotel. The best part of Airbnb is a functional kitchen. When you are traveling with kids, having an operating and full-fledged kitchen with all the amenities is a boon. Even you can cook Maggi or heat ready to eat meals, prepare tea coffee as and when needed.
Flexibility
Unlike hotels, Airbnb can be flexible in terms of check in and check out timings. Many times, we have checked in early as our flight landed early than the scheduled check-in time and check out late too. You can check the flexibility with the host before booking.

Many Airbnb has shared common area or bathrooms so you need to check the description before booking. Many students or office goers opt for such properties too as it meets their requirement. But if you want a private place, ensure checking with the host by directly messaging them through the site. This is one of the best features of this app.
