Smart homes, smart devices – an emerging trend in the market

We often hear people saying, “Technology has taken over us and our precious time”. Its correct up to some extent but at the same time, it is something we can’t imagine our lives without. Technology has made our lives way too easier. We have so many gadgets and smart devices available in the market that makes our chores easier and time effective.

There was a time when the mobile phone was introduced to the market and it was a luxury. People wondered looking at the magical box how just by pressing a few buttons, it worked and connected us with the people across the world. Later, smartphones, touch screens, tablets invaded the market and it no longer remained a luxury.

Imagine our smartphone is dead even for a minute, sounds scary no? We feel so handicapped. Making calls or booking a cab or ordering grocery items or checking about delayed kids school bus – we are dependent on this little box. My phone is my lifesaver whenever I travel, using GPS or Google translate in the cities/countries where language is a concern, the mobile phone comes to my rescue.

Not only that, while we hunt for a decent school for our children, we look for all the amenities like smart classes, smart speakers etc. so that our kids are getting the best education and atmosphere. We cannot overlook the crimes happening in the schools these days, hence another important and must have amenity we look for is a high-quality smart camera and surveillance system.

Locking and unlocking your home doors by sitting in your office just by pressing a button sounded like a sci-fi movie. But, with the recent technology developments in the automation industry, it is the reality. Smart locks are a brilliant product which allows you to lock and unlock your doors remotely or even by giving instructions to your Alexa using voice recognition. If you have unexpected guests, you can share temporary keys with them via an app. Smart doors lock automatically after a set period of time.
