Say NO to your baby’s blocked nose now!
Winters are not far and with their onset, comes many other problems, especially for our little ones. No matter how hard we try, it’s tough to keep our kids away from catching a cold, cough, congestion, blocked and running nose etc. And sick kids means more work for moms along with continuous worry of treating them soon. When kids have a blocked nose, they face a lot of difficulty in breathing, since they are obligatory nose breathers, which affects their sleep, feeding, playtime and they feel cranky and uncomfortable all the time. The worst part is that at this age they can neither express their problem nor know how to sniff or blow the nose. It’s very heartbreaking for parents to see your little ones suffering.
There are a few ways to help your congested baby like keep your kid hydrated and give plenty of liquids. However, when babies are unwell, it very difficult as their feeding and drinking are badly affected. Proper rest is very important for the quick recovery so try to give your kid a cozy and peaceful environment to rest. Using an air humidifier is another way which helps to loosen the mucus in the nose. Saline water spray also helps which is easily available at medical stores.
Another effective way for treating blocked nose is using nasal drops. Nasivion is one of the brands, which is a quick acting decongestant. The main ingredient of Nasivion is Oxymetazoline which is a proven, reliable and well-accepted product for decades, suitable for adults as well as kids’ noses.
