And she dared to write again! My blogging journey
Work/Blogging

And she dared to write again #myfriendalexa

Spread the love

Some two years ago, a girl dived into blogging by chance,

Oblivious of the sea of the blogosphere, she was in her own trance

Voicing and penning her thoughts brought her solace,

And helped her sail through her life’s toughest phase

She would type on the phone every night while putting her kids to sleep,

Later would escape from the room, to finish the post, like a creep

Various writing contests and challenges she discovered, moving on,

Wins, recognitions, awards, and accolades kept her going on

At Momspresso, Women’s Web, The Financial Express, etc. – she was a contributor,

Her husband, family, and friends stood by her, being the strongest motivators

Brownies were the pals she made through this journey in the virtual world,

She knew she could look up to them on grumpy days, lying in bed curled

Then happened collaborations, book reviews, guest posts – ah! a long chain,

Enthusiastically, she jumped into all and ended up participating and later hosting a few blog trains

It was not rosy, there were moments of pink and even grey,

But she always managed to make her way

She wasn’t a vocab queen and wrote straight from her heart,

She had her doubts if she will be able to make a space in this huge blogging world.

Two eventful years passed by in a flick,

But in store for her, there was something big

The fight between yes or no ended in a crunch,

And finally, she decided to take the plunge

Blogchatter was the channel where her search was finished,
In May 2019, her first e-book, Travel, my way  got published

Reading the rave reviews of her book, she was on cloud nine,

But soon, her job hunt ended for which she had been trying

Time and energy were alien to her and blogging took a back seat,

Sans writing, her life seemed incomplete

So many ideas kept swarming in her head,

Alas! She lost them all under her pillow and bed

Despite trying hard, pen and paper made her snore,
She remembered the time when her feelings and emotions she used to pour

This took a toll on her health and she seemed to go in depression,

But quitting for her was always out of the question

Today, she picked herself again and dared to write,

For she is a fighter and will fight!!!

I am taking my blog to the next level with Blogchatter’s #MyFriendAlexa.

Aww.. such a heartfelt situation shared here.dont worry you will always come back to writing and with support from family and friends it’s always possible. I completely understand a full time job, kids, home becomes overwhelming and the no time and energy is left for creativity, but jaha chah waha rah so Good luck.

Congratulations on being published! That’s a great deal. Sometimes, we have to take from blogging but the important part is that you still keep coming back. Because for those of us who have been bitten by the writing bug, a life without writing is unimaginable. I’m so glad you didn’t give up. Here’s to many more posts, accolades and recognitions. Found your blog through #MyFriendAlexa linky list.

The Vartu I know has been, is and will always be a fighter. Take your time, try to space it out and know that you are loved and cherished by your friends. I don’t know how you are handling writing with a job and after taking care of the twins but I know for sure that Vartu is the best in everything she does because every bit of it is straight from her heart. Love and hugs.

It is difficult to write regularly with a full time job. I struggle often myself. Thats when #MyFriendAlexa kind of contests reallt act as bestfriends!

I kind of started my blogging journey in a similar way, sans the twins and the husband of course,
I always find solace in Blogging when the world around me is in a turmoil.
